  • Description
Sub-titled: 'Present Day Tactical Naval Combat'. Beginning with an excellent introduction about the evolution of 'Ships' from the 'Post WW-2' era up until the 'present'-(circa 1979), and with some possible 'future' contingents. This is a set of RULES for use in conjunction with 'Modern Naval Miniatures'(or 'counters') up to a scale of '1/1200th'-although others can be adapted for use as well. This is slightly larger than the norm-('11'&-3/4 by '8'&-1/2) sized 'Rulebook' compilation, of 70-pages in length, with a 'slick'-cover for the contents. There is a 'section' which details just what will be required to enable any 'playings' for this. Interspersed within the 'Rules' are some 'Tables' for comparison & explanations, with 'examples' also being shown. From page '42' and on, there are various 'Charts', 'Tables', the 'Tactical Data Display'-sheet 'example' provided, the 'Bibliography', 'Designer's Notes', with the 'Table of Contents' on the last back '2'-pages for this. The scale given is '1'-vessel per 'mini' OR 'counter', '2'-minutes per Turn, '1'-inch = 2,000 yds(m)-can also be scaled where more room is permitted. - BoardGameGeek
