Timberland is a German family game about woodland management in the old days. Play is card driven according to the four seasons fruit falls from the trees in the Autumn in Winter, wild boar eat the fruit and run through the woods depositing seeds as they go in the Spring and Summer the seeds grow into trees and thereafter the trees are cut down by the axe-wielding woodcutter. Players select cards and maneuver the boar and the woodcutter in order to get the largest stand of contiguous trees.Ages 8 and up. - BoardGameGeek
